• Distribute guidelines received from authorities on budget, project preparation, PMS, PSP, BPI, CSC etc
• Compile divisions / units budget as to set format and guidance
• Compile ministerial projects and programmes - Compile action plans
• Develop strategies for resource mobilization - Compile MTEF
• Compile and edit ministerial budget speech
• Compile quarterly mid yearly and annual sector performance reports and ensure consistency
• Submit recommendations to Ministry of planning and Economic Empowerment and treasury for release of project funds
• Review previous years budget performance
• Identify sector budgetary implications on Government decisions and directives
• Compile reports on monitoring and evaluation of various ministerial activities including PMS, BPI, MIS etc
• Provide technical expertise on strategic plan, action plan and client service charter preparation
• Participate in process of activity analysis and feasibility study
• Participate in the PSP management group
